Rico`s Pizzeria - SR64 in Bradenton

I live in Dallas and placed a large order online to be delivered to my parents house. I didn't realize that my parents lived outside of Rico's delivery area. Despite placing this order very late and a substantial distance away, the staff went above and beyond and delivered a wonderful meal to my parents. I am truly grateful to them! My parents loved the meals.

Great food, especially given that it was delivery. My mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly, and the Philly Cheese Steak was the best I've had in FL (I'm from PA). The bun was nice and fresh.

I would recommend everyone to eat here . Rico knows what Awesome Service and Quality is . His prices are great for the amount of food you get . Rico is friendly and takes his business seriously. Had them for the first time this evening. Really really exceptional. All of it. Pizza, raviolis and salads. We will be back!!!!

Place a delivery order. Didn't get half my order. Food was cold. Ordered a large Stromboli... Half the Stromboli was bread. Most expensive $18 loaf of bread I ever purchased. Food is way overpriced for quality.

Pizza was great

Sorry but disgusting. Chicken was slimy, no marsala flavor, and 3dried out canned mushroom . My daughters pizza was dry and flavorless except for oil dripping from crustGood salad dressing, wish salad was more than ribs and banana peppers.

$5.99 for 2 slices and a drink. Great deal. And the best NY style pizza around!

I've been there once and wasn't disappointed.. pizza and staff was great.. win win.. they also have great steak and cheese subs.. well worth the drive from west Bradenton or Sarasota

My Family is from Sicily, and this was great authentic amazing Italian food!!! Try the calzones, perfect amount of cheese and meat, not a ton of dough, cooked perfect! Salads were amazing, the grilled chicken on top out of this world!!! So many places to choose from in the area.... This is a must for good food/good price!!!

Alfthe alfredo sauce tasted like gravy... there wasn't enough cheese :(

I ordered delivery the 1st time tonight from rico's when I sat down to eat the order had gotten slightly mixed up I called the manager She was awesome she sent out the right order and it was at my doorstep within 5 minutes they also let me keep the other order I will definitely be going back to Rico's and thank you the spaghetti con vongole In white sauce was fantastic.

AWESOME PIE!!! I was in Sarasota for work today and on my way back home, I stopped by Rico's for a cheese slice and I'm glad to say, I LOVED IT!!!The crust was the star of the show, the sauce was also top notch, a little heavy on the onion but absolutely brilliant never the less, perfect mix of sauce and cheese... Considering this was a reheated slice, I can only imagine how good their fresh pie are when they come out of the oven!Rico's is centrally located, has plenty of free parking and their pies & slices are very affordable ($2.50 cheese slice). Top of my list - No doubt.To him who has an ear, let him hear. #TGBATG

Coming from the midwest its been impossible to find a "great pizza joint" until I had my first pie from Rico's Pizzeria. The crust, the sauce the generous fresh cheese was all amazing. I would drive a long distance to get this pizza. It made my stomach smile. :))

We have ordered from rico's about 7 times in the past 2 months! It gets better everytime. Mussels are to die for I couldn't believe how good they were for a pizza place. Food is always delicious. My salad wasn't some bagged junk either fresh soinach and tomatoes and crispy. Hidden Gem my entire family loves Rico's my kids even get excited when we say that's what's for dinner!

Zero stars. Possibly the worst food we’ve ever tasted. NOTHING was seasoned. No salt or pepper in anything. Marinara sauce tasted like water - had no garlic, onion. Eggplant rollatini was obviously pre-made and frozen. Inedible. Calamari and clams had the texture of a rubber band. Chicken parm was pounded so thin and so overcooked it was like a piece of cardboard. Chicken wings were rubbery, not crisp at all, and they sent them with no dressing or vegetables. We ate the side salads and literally threw away $70 worth of food without eating it. I never write reviews of restaurants but this was so awful we felt we needed to.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

My mom called to order a pizza and she said I’m sorry I can’t hear you and the lady said in a rude voice “what do you want me to scream at you?!?!” When it was time to pick up the pizza my mom went inside to pick it up and they said it would be ready in 5 minutes so my mom waited in the car for 10 minutes when she went inside to see if the food was ready they screamed at her and told her they would come out and get her when it was ready... we are paying customers the way they treated my kind mother is completely unacceptable.

This place is Awesome! It's a small quiet, high volume pizza shop. Their food is superb. We have eaten here many times and NEVER had a bad meal! We have had their food delivered to our house as well. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious pizza! Our first experience and we will definitely try again. A little disappointment finding only half the garlic knots that we ordered. I could have called to complain but by the time we got home our mouths were already watering from the smell of the pizza so it wasn't worth it, especially in this time of safer at home. Would have been five stars and will probably be updated after our next visit. Support these local business!

There food is so delicious. They make everything themselves. Italian food is favorite, but it's hard to find a really good one and we got very fortunate finding this one.

Some of the BEST pizza in the area! And yes, I'm sitting in bed eating this delicious pizza like any decent human being would do.

My family visited Rico's last May 2018, while on vacation and was pleasantly pleased. We are here again on vacation and made it a mission to visit again. When we arrived yesterday May 28, 2019, we could not dine in because Rico's was filled with customers dining in and the carry out was busy too.We waited about 30-40 minutes and it was worth it! The food is great!We had two pasta dishes and a pizza. All was delicious!Rico and his sidekick were great meaning service and friendly. Highly recommended be it dine in or carry out!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I've given this place 2 chances and the customer service has been horrible both times. It just sucks that you try to support small businesses and you get frustrated in return. Wouldn't recommend!

Amazing, I'm from NJ so my standards on pizza are very high. Did not disappoint.

While on vacation we wanted to order some "good" Italian food. Not from the regular chain restaurants. We settled on this place, and were more than pleasantly surprised. Seven people and a variety of different dishes, everything was top notch. The kids whose idea of good pizza is usually $5, ate the entire pizza. The buffalo chicken sub, although very very hot, was absolutely delicious. The chicken parmesan was spectacular. Excellent marinara sauce. The Philly cheese steak, also delicious. My son ordered the calzone, the large was absolutely huge. Really well made and definitely worth purchasing. Makes me sad that we don't have a Rico's where we're from! Kudos!!

Wonderful little pizzeria and pasta place. Salad was fresh and plentiful. Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious!! Staff was friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely hit it up again.

Pizza was 2 hours late and awful.... If you know really great pizza and Italian food, even take out or delivery, don’t Order from Rico’s!!! Believe me...

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Not a large dining area, but adequate for our party of 5. The food was good, served hot our waitress was excellent. Our guest from Brooklyn endorsed the pizza as authentic New York style.

Unfortunately this location is nothing like the others. We ordered 2 pizzas for 48.00. ($$$). They were wrong the owner was gracious and remade them however the pizza is like a frozen pizza. The dough has no taste and hardly ha e toppings. We order from the one on 70 and the white pizza is so good its outrageous. This location is really not good at all!

Ordered delivery and it was fantastic (Shrimp Scampi and side salad). Everything was perfect and fresh. If tonight was any indication I found one of my favorite local restaurants.

Terrible service. Roaches running around. Owner is an alcoholic. Doesn't pay his employees. High School drama all day every time I've went. Never ever going back and highly recommend you don't either!!!

A Pleasant and Professional Catered Experience …We recently ordered a meal for 6 people from the Bradenton Rico’s on State Road 64. Our order was ready on time, hot and packaged in high quality containers. The pizzas looked magnificent and were cooked just right. We also ordered a pan of ziti pasta and it was WONDERFUL – with a captivating aroma and heavenly taste. A pan of fresh garden salad greens and tasty garlic knots complemented the order. We definitely recommend Rico’s chefs whether you need one pizza or an entire meal that’s sure to please!

Was craving Pizza a few nights ago but did not want to go out and wanted authentic Italian pizza. Found Rico's online. The reviews were good and we are in area of delivery so we ordered a pizza and wings. The Pizza was SO good!! They had crumbled sausage which is my favorite!! I have to say Rico's is my new favorite Pizza place!! Oh and delivery was less than 45 min! Excellent on everything!! Thank you so much! We will be calling again!
